Why support the YWCA?

In 2011, we brought on a new Board of Directors, a new CEO, and several other key staff members. Under the new leadership: ​

In 2011 we fixed our pool and purchased three rooms of fitness equipment, and added fitness classes.

In March 2012, we launched our Twin Academy Lunch and Learn Series (see Career Options Center for more info)

In Spring 2012, we opened a new computer lab

In Fall 2012, we rennovated our child care wing

​
In 2012 we launched our Healthy Kids Program, including martial arts and swimming lessons

​

  The newly rennovated child care wing of the YWCA features more classrooms, extended hours, uniforms, and expanded ages. (Enrollment is from 6 weeks to 5 years old).
